Rafa retired yesterday (:

I was a kid back then when I started watching tennis and Rafa was the first player whom I admired and now that I'm a grown adult it truly feels nostalgic that so much time went by. It's so painful to see your favorite sportsperson retire and it hits different tbh.

Rafa always said that he always aims to be a good human before a good sportsman, you're indeed one Rafa. What a camaraderie between Rafa and Roger, a beautifully written message by Roger himself on twitter signifies what impact Rafa has made to the tennis world.

Always a Rafa fan, Nadal is simply a goat for me. The most humble and kind sportsman I have ever seen. I wish I could meet him someday.

Love what you've written. Rafa for me is probably the one sportsman I'd want to emulate the most in life.

He was so aggressive, focused, competitive on the court. But off it, as nice, soft, human.

He kind of covered what it means to be a beast on the court but be an amazing person too. Will miss never being able to see that beautiful forehand live again.

Thanks for the appreciation, I just poured my heart out. Yeah second that, a beast on court and a soft hearted friendly person off the court. Amazing person tbh. That resilience is not easy to develop that's why he is the "Rafael Nadal". Yeah that effortless forehand it was so beautiful, and it will now just remain in memories.
