Reason for procrastination
Sometimes I often procrastinate on important tasks but it's not because I don't like it or have no interest in it, mostly maybe due to self doubt about my ability.
What is your reason for procrastination, if you procrastinate?

Because I know I can get it done in couple of hrs. Too confident on my ability 😬😬

I recall spending my time inefficiently, believing I had ample time to complete my pending tasks. After reflecting on this for a week, I came to the realization that I was being a bitch avoiding my responsibilities.
To improve my situation, I adopted the 3-second rule. Now, whenever I need to make a decision, I count down from three and take immediate action, regardless of how I feel I perform anyway.

Thanks for sharing, I will try the 3 second rule

Godspeed homie 🤞

One important thing I learnt about overcoming procrastination is to follow the 5 min rule.
If there’s any task that you have to do but will mostly procrastinate, just apply the 5 minute rule. say to yourselves , I COULD do this for just 5 mins and if I don’t feel like continuing, I will stop and do whatever I feel like.
Most of the times, that 5 mins is enough to continue whatever it is that you started.
You have to realise that procrastination stops you at the very first step of starting. To beat it, you gotta hack your way through the first step by just allowing yourselves the flexibility of just starting and stopping if you don’t feel like.

Thanks for sharing, I will try to implement the Technic
I also have the same reason. Was reading somewhere that it could be a sign of ADHD

Fear of failure
Lot of work needs to be done→keep on delaying→escape to social media/Netflix/anime, etc→procrastination
Great question. I have often wondered myself this. I have listed these
- Fear of failure
- Unclear goal mapping
- Privilege/comfort zone
- Lack of awareness
- Failure to take risk
- Being perfectionist
- Need for Instant gratification and validation
