Reason given by investors on Mojocare sounds very fishy. At one end they are blaming the founder for embezzlement while on other end they are blaming market conditions and unsustainable business model for the layoff of employees. Doglapan?

too much of a coincidence. Mojocare was also funded by Sequoia India (before they were fired from Sequoia and became Peak XV). Sequoia has been infamous for dubious transactions in the past as well. Many founders have called the Sequoia team out for unprofessional behaviour. I think that investors were working hand in glove with the founders and benefitted from this scandal. When things went out of control, investors threw founders under the bus. too many scandals out now from Sequoia India's portfolio.
