Regarding e-book reading devices

Hi everyone, anyone here who has any idea of e- book reading devices like Kindle or Kobo or any other?

I am looking for an e-book reader at a reasonable cost with good reviews as well. Also, it should have the capability to transfer the PDFs from laptops or mobile phones, just not supporting one ecosystem with good storage.

Any suggestions guys for this would be really appreciated.
