Need to switch houses soon (humongous rental hikes have hit my society haha), can folks here provide some stats on what they’re paying, in which area, and how long ago they moved in.

Also suggest some decent places to look for, area don’t matter, I’m mostly looking for metro proximity.

Looking for a 3bhk in mahadevapura and surroundings .
What's the budget I should be ready for ? In terms of rent and also advance..
My guess is 50k for rent + maintenance & 2 lakhs for advance. Will this be sufficient for a 3bhk in decent society.

I think if you are lucky you might find something like that in this budget. Generally for a 3bhk in a good gated society, I’d assume like 75-1L.

75k seems too much In godrej United just near phoenix mall 3bhk ( 3 toilets) we can get for 65k

Paying 7k for a 1RK in BTM Layout. Owner increased rent by 6% (250 INR) as per agreement after 11 months of me staying here. Electricity and water are both covered in rent.

The only problem is that office takes 30-35 minutes one way.
