How is the business growth ? It’s just a sub vertical of YT gaming but they have made into a business.
Not sure about revenue but their last round was a year before.
Also, Heard that they are fully remote.
Rooter is another one which something similar in game streaming.
Absolute scam and fraud company Loco. Overpay creators and inflate web numbers to show userbase. Not heard of revenues since 4 years.
App has not evolved in the last 1 year.
Plus Indians don't like to watch random people stream games. So u end up spending in crores to get celeb gamers who will never leave YouTube.
Is it same with Rooter also ? It’s a content game, and content will depend on who streams like as you said Celebs have the demand/pull, but random ppl need push..
I feel from App point of view, Rooter is better than Loco, in terms of experience and content.
And above all, Rooter is making revenue while Loco is not. Why or what could be the reason ?
Normally everyone tries to be on par with competitor and they don’t miss out the trend. But feel rooter is 10 steps ahead of loco in all means, even their raised a round this year while Loco is yet to do..
Not very bullish on esports as a segment only
Rooter > Loco yes but TAM is super small, revenue is primarily ads which is a hopeless model, there is no streamer moat since all top streamers are with YT unless u buy them out in which case CAC won't work out

Video streaming app with Less than 1m daily users in india is valued over $100m... So every random person in india is worth over $100? Lol.
