Seller struggles on Amazon and Flipkart

Part time seller of posters here. Have burnt lot of money on Amazon ads - made few sales as well but ROAS is very low. Was thinking of using Shopify and using SEO to drive traffic. Tried Flipkart as well but found the policies and the support very poor. Its very sad to see Amazon and Flipkart monopolising almost all Ecommerce traffic in India.

At the end of the day, every business would want to prefer their own products, or those which would offer maximum commission for them. Meesho is also doing the same thing

Yeah. I agree. Either you die a true marketplace or live long enough to sell your own brands or push your sellers in a so called marketplace

Also, if it was not for AWS, Amazon would've been bankrupt way back.

Amazon or Flipkart aren't exactly the first port of call for posters. Instagram n Instagram ads with links to stores wherever

Well Amazon does sell posters in amazon basics. But yeah, need to move away from marketplaces and build using insta and d2c store landing

Have you spoken to customers? Is there a real demand and true quality that delivers to the promise?

Decent traction so far considering the minimal clicks I have got using the limited money I could spend on Amazon ads. No returns for quality and high conversion post clicks.
