Service desk to data engineering
Please guide me how to switch to data engineering? I'm currently working on a service desk project. I have basic to intermediate knowledge in SQL, python, pyspark (practicing daily) and have created 2 projects in which I have created data pipelines. My biggest fear for an interview is when the interviewer asks to explain the current project and responsibilities. If the interviewer starts dwelling in depths they would know that I am not a data engineer. Please guide me.

Why into data engineering? It doesn't have growth beyond a certain point, in case you are young, become strong in SQL, analytical and problem-solving. Then go for cloud AI.
