Share Your Wisdom

Heyoll, what corporate harsh reality do you want to share with freshers who's learning the truths with pain

NB: just got a call from a senior teammate for not calling him bhaiya(my mistake) , the founder itself want everyone to address everyone with name and no sir/madam culture

  • Document everything. Even if its instructions from founder. And send it to them for record. Maybe as a MOM or synopsis.
  • Maintain a brag sheet documenting your smallest of achievements/learnings. Will help you in times of self doubt and appraisal.
  • Make life of your manager easy.
  • Don't be a difficult to work person. Will help in long run
  • Never burn bridges
  • Structural/Cultural changes take time in corporate setup. If yours or team's concern is noted by management, have patience to see the results.
  • Its okay to feel like an imposter while taking new responsibilities.
  • Never undermine yourself while appraisals.
  • Understand company business and revenue sources. Some verticals do well , some don't. Helps you to switch/ move sideways.
