- Document everything. Even if its instructions from founder. And send it to them for record. Maybe as a MOM or synopsis.
- Maintain a brag sheet documenting your smallest of achievements/learnings. Will help you in times of self doubt and appraisal.
- Make life of your manager easy.
- Don't be a difficult to work person. Will help in long run
- Never burn bridges
- Structural/Cultural changes take time in corporate setup. If yours or team's concern is noted by management, have patience to see the results.
- Its okay to feel like an imposter while taking new responsibilities.
- Never undermine yourself while appraisals.
- Understand company business and revenue sources. Some verticals do well , some don't. Helps you to switch/ move sideways.
