Silent Layoff at Meta

15% are being given Below Expectations rating and are being offered mutual seperation with 3 Months salary.

The mid year ratings are supposed to just give a direction but this year's layoff is happening on its basis.

I heard they happened in Cisco this week as well (not silent, actual layoffs) And now this from Meta

Are we in the middle of something again?

My two cents is when have we not been in the middle of something since the mid 2022 its been 2 years now and things still look the same as they did 2 years ago.
