Silent Layoffs in Classplus
At its peak Classplus employed about 800 employees which is now down to about 300 but you'd never see this in news because they have been strategically laying off employees on high salaries one by one. Just today 4 people have been asked to leave (that I know of). They very smartly either shift people to textbook and then ask them to leave from there or directly ask them to leave. There's no PIP. The founders are busy with setting up a new college, for some reason. Most of Classplus core business is just flat, people are asked to just maintain the business. It is losing big clients to competition. I don't know what the outlook of the company looks like but it's not looking good.

Classplus has bellied yp long back… the founder cheats the cto… hires a cto and then asks them to leave once the server is consilates or does a lot of politics… they even did a lot of unethical things for which they are having legal troubles… all in all its just one particular person along with the founder that started the politcs and now the ball is set in motion… nw the founders are trying to gain back the loss by trying to set up colleges, but thats not going to happen… n there are still some chatu employess that helping with this mess..

They are the worst founders. I have worked with them and what I know that they both are crooks. They have been exploiting employees from starting itself. One of the cofounder was even beaten up by some employees as he was misbehaving with some female employees.

Classplus founders are the most unethical, rude people I have ever met.
He must have hired some founder social media manager and putting lots of random podcast fake gyan whereas there is no actual real business

Well put and 100% truth. You can check the profitability. Now just to call themselves profitable they are cutting down employees m expenses by layoff people. Also not just that they started new ventures like future talks, plutus, healthplus all are new projects that failed in pilot run.
Also, about clients switching to competitors it’s because the product team is at bare minimum capacity with majority people at low salary. Surprisingly no new features in recent times.
