HR, I don't know.

In Sales, learn Inbound Sales and Basics of Full-funnel Digital Marketing (I am talking from B2B perspective) - The whole wide world of tech companies can be a playground for you and ya, 30 LPA is possible too.

Why don't you think of it in this way - as a business professional your only 2 imperatives are 1) To grow revenue 2) Cut costs

Identify in which of these buckets your role falls into and you'll have your answers. But some fundamental skills to get to 30 LPA+ includes learning to communicate effectively - very useful in negotiations whether it's sales or vendor onboarding, learning to ask the right questions or critical thinking and finally improving your knowledge on finance - understanding what you do/suggest and how it ties up to the financial statements

I appreciate your insightful response regarding the imperatives in the business domain. Your emphasis on fundamental skills is duly noted. I'm keen on further honing these skills.

However, I'm also considering the importance of showcasing tangible hard skills on my resume, preferably with relevant certificates. I believe the above mentioned skills can only be showcased through practical projects(do correct me if I am wrong). I'm curious about your thoughts on incorporating certifications at a fresher level.

I believe that having certifications facilitates continuous learning and also serves as a quick and concrete way to convey proficiency. Would you agree with this perspective, kindly let me know if there are other methods also?

Additionally, I would be grateful for your guidance on specific hard skills that I should prioritize and explore further.

Thank you once again for your time and guidance. I am sincerely eager to learn more and appreciate any insights you can share.

Certifications can kinda box you in a group if you do it too soon. Better to wait till finishing another 2-3 years of your career to get clarity on understanding what function you are heading towards. Theres also a possibility that you do a certification now, but your role changes in guture and you never go close to that subject matter ever again. It has happened to me. Again, these are just my perspective.

Not to break your hopes, but to be honest 30+ L.P.A for a fresher is only possible if he gets placed in MBB or IB roles. Some FMCG companies do pay 30+ but the fixed is close to 19-20.

I totally understand that no fresher can get that hence I had mentioned "30LPA over the years".

I had thought of targeting sales roles in MNC FMCGs but have heard some negatives about the constant target pressure.

Do share if you have any advice on the upskilling part. Would be very valuable.

Thanks again!
