So many post of glassdoor about Freshworks being casteist. Is this true? Pls help considering an offer.

Casteism in a startup like Freshworks seems unreal

Never experienced casteism but the hate against brahmins is real in FW. People behind the back throw a lot of anti brahmin slurs sometimes even for their best friends.

Could be some one who had a grime against them. Check for pattern around the posts. Are they spread across or around the same time stamp?

These things usually are promoted by a cohort of like minded folks who then manifest each other's thoughts. Eg. While i was at ICICI, there was a manager who was against Muslims and also had very openly called it out at parties.

Having said that, the whole company cannot be labelled casteist.

Caste system exists in MNCs too, I worked in top service based MNC and my TL, manager, his manager and his manager all were brahmins, they specifically didn't show casteism on face but they on boarded one more Brahmin for TL and manager posts. TL is completely dumb guy and it is a surprise he has survived more than 8 years in IT.
