Solo Trip Ideas for Year End Week

Need some solo trip destination ideas from 24th to 29th Dec.

Budget: 30-40k

Not into drinking or partying so don't suggest Goa. Any scenic places or hidden gems within India or out of India. If you've been there before please share the itinerary and the cost if possible. Thank you 🙏

If you are into sports i would definitely recommend going to mulki for 3-5 days trip to learn surfing. In the mornings you can learn surfing and evening can go out and visit nearby towns such as mangalore, udupi. I stayed in Indica surf school. Thats good

Not a requirement, they teach in shallow waters, also you will be with an instructor all the time

Mangalore is my native :) Have been to most of the coastal places around it. Pondicherry is one of my options. Already been to ooty, coorg, munnar.

@zen - 30-40K is more than enough for these locations if you're staying in an airbnb or a backpacker hostel. Let me know which place do you need itinerary for.

Hampi! Dont miss on early morning bouldering at matanga hill with the sun rise, coracle boat riding at place opposite to sanapur lake and sunset views from malyavanta hills. Hampi bazar post sunset and hampi heritage tour in between. You’ll be exhausted but it would be the most breathtaking experience you’ll ever have. Take a scooty and wander around the roads surrounded by paddy fields

I recommend some history my dear friend.

Go to Belur/Halebidu and take a guide and explore the sexy sexy architecture there...

You can easily go in a train to Hassan and book a cab from there... Cab will be 2-3k i think. But buses should also be available.

And if you want to eat there just go to Itihakala restaurant near halebidu. Excellent food. You will see what an amazing architecture we built and how some ahole islam rulers destroyed it and the cunning english looted some of them.. Despite all of it, that architecture still looks epic.
