Are SGBs worth it? What happens if we buy from the secondary market instead of RBI? How is the interest calculated for those? Is the interest taxed as per slab?

Well, at least SGBs don't make you lose ~10% of value in making charges and return charges.

What if gold biscuits are taken? Making charges won't apply then. Only GST will apply

They are safe investment with moderate gains but the only problem is that they have long waiting times of 8-10 years before the investment is matured.
