Advice for someone starting in top-tier consulting role?
Just starting in a great ole, would love to take whatever advice y'all have!
I am starting as an Associate in a management consulting firm. From all the more experienced folks out here, would love to hear about your first job experiences. Things that you did that made it a better experience or things that you wish you had done (or not done). Really anxious about it, so any random experiences are also welcome!
I found it helpful to realize that an employee is just a cog in the wheel and is easily replaceable
Took me a while to pick this up coz my reviews were great so I thought I was more than a cog in the wheel
My two cents on your first job.
Know that you will take up another job in the future. Do justice to your current job. WLB will come soon enough and so will the money.
You are a sponge in your 20s so live experiences that will help you appreciate your 30s where you apply things you learnt in your 20s.

Going to start as a data analyst in a consulting company as a fresher on Monday, graduated this year. What are some tips you'd like give me so that I don't hate my job like most of you here...jk.
Do comment about your experiences, mista...
Hello everyone I am a new grad from a Tier-1 institute and would be joining a management consulting firm in Nov. I wanted to ask suggestions regarding what I could do these 3 months to upskill myself as well as learn something productive...
