TBH, the high cash flow from VCs has spoiled us as customers

Quick commerce being a huge example

Honestly, if you think you are spoiled as a customer then you are probably not the target customer anyway.

All the people I know use Uber, Zomato, Swiggy etc. on a whim, because they are willing to pay for these services. Maybe once you grow up and start making more money then you will decide to spend money on that.

The only problem is that it became affordable for a lot of people like college kids, low earners etc.

When in fact, costs are reduced for their target customers which are Rich and Affluent consumers like us, to increase adoption of services.

They don’t care about your business if you can’t pay up when the Discounts run dry 😂

Can't argue the usefulness though. Convenience comes at a cost, and it takes a while for the market to adjust. Fair prices will emerge over time and consumers will have to decide which ones are luxuries that they can afford vs which ones they can't.

Gig workers used to earn a lot, some of them still do. It's good employment creation all things said and done.

💯

And now we expect the discounts to be high, delivery fee to be 0, convenience is a right for no cost etc. VC party is over and it is pinching

Too much money too soon, where have we seen that?

While I'm proud of these two revolutionising the quick commerce space, I somehow have a bad feeling about this

Profits aren't coming, money is flowing Don't know what the VCs are seeking? Why bake a a pie that you can't eat later?
