Since your username says foodie, being a foodie myself I would suggest you to try it at least once.
While I tasted it for the first time 4-5 years back and I don't love it that much tbvh, but I still have it once in a while (consider 2-3 times a year); and at some places they make it very well.
Hence I would still suggest you to try it from a place which makes it really good.
