Last movie which made you cry
Which was that one movie where you felt very deeply connected with the story/characters/narration/ending which made you cry ?
I am a bollywood buff,
Kal ho na ho Ghajini
Ghajini scarred a whole generation 😥
I was 8yo back then , which is pretty young to comprehend adult relationships. But all I knew was, when Kalpana was killed, something in me died too. I know I am making this sound mawkish or cringe but as a child I always felt bad for what happend between the two of them.
To detox myself I have to listen to Kaise Mujhe on loop. Only that can fix it.
Not the saddest ending, but the saddest plot: Pursuit of happyness. Like you study hard, get admit to the best institutes, take education loans, get great grades, all to fulfil your ambition of being on a trading floor as an intern, and a guy, severely underdressed, not wearing a shirt, takes your spot just because he could solve a stupid colored-cube game. And he wasn't even wearing nice pants
Not because he could solve a stupid colored cube, but because he can sacrifice water to save minutes in a day, he has a good communication skills, because even though he's not perfect he "can work hard" to be one & ofc he is humble enough to not discourage "undressed, without shirt, bad pant guy" just because he doesn't fit his idea of ambitious smart people
What's the water sacrifice reference?
“grave of the fireflies” such a wholesome movie, give it a try!
Sadma (kamal Hasan and Sridevi)
