In most cases a man would do or put up with anything for his kid. He may not like the woman, job, family but he will silently suffer for the kid the first husband was willing to let go of it. Thats a big red flag. This guy walked right into the trap.

Psychological and emotional abuse is worse than physical abuse. Many men commit suicide because of it. Yet there are no laws or anyone even tracking numbers.

DV is punishable by law, but not this. There is no due process to even speak of. No court in India grants divorce on the basis of emotional abuse or neglect. Maybe if men campaigned by saying “all women are walking emotional abusers” then something would be done but even then highly unlikely.
