Things to know about (Navi)Mumbai

Hey guys! I'm new on this app. I'm a 2023 graduate and will be starting my job this July. My office is in Navi Mumbai. Just wanted to get to know from the community what all should I know about both Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, like what things should I be cautious about, living charges, places to explore, etc.

Take a flat in Koparkhairne/Ghansoli as that will be closer to your work place. Rates will be cheaper and you will be closer to Vashi to go out during weekends. Travelling to Mumbai from Navi Mumbai will still be hectic but cannot help that

Well I do plan taking a flat in Ghansoli/Airoli, and my dad's friend also stays in Koparkhairne, so he'll help with house hunting. My friend has taken a flat in a housing society in Ghansoli for 2BHK 20k. Still not decided if I should stay alone or share with someone. Any idea on room sizes? My friend took 10x10 sqft room.

This being Mumbai, room sizes will be compartively smaller, check on water coming 24/7 and other aminities before finalising.

Live close to your office. Maybe 1-2 stations far on either sides. Travelling is a bitch in mumbai
