To all lead data scientist and career transitioned ppl .

Hi, I am a postgraduate student (M.tech in electrical engineering).I have a undergraduate student (B.E/b.tech,)teaching experience of 6.5 year before marriage and after marriage I discontinued working due to location issues since 2.5 years. Now I want to restart my career in IT sector since many wfh roles are available . I am aspiring for data analyst roles. Trying to build required skills from YouTube and other available platforms. But since from non-IT background unable to have clarity whether I am on right approach, will I ever get job through this process or I am just wasting time. Pls guide me.

Try to check if there are any openings in similar roles in any of the companies that are related to your domain expertise

Assess yourself and the sitution that you are in
how long can you stick to the goal irrespective of the results

It may take just 3 months or 6 months or more sometimes more than a year

You may not get the desired salary/role/location that you have expected
