I strongly disagree. In hand per day will be Rs600, the daily wage workers earn almost the same. If you want the highest quality then you will have to pay accordingly. But this inhuman treatment. There should be a concept of minimum wage for a B.tech graduate or any graduate.

Why lmao? Economy's bad, I get that. But why this? BTech ain't special.

Or else if every strata, identity group in this nation needs some form of handouts, then the talented should just leave, with the massive migration needs of western europe to fuel their economy anyway.

Yup, btech ain't special. Everyone deserves a minimum wage to survive regardless of degree or profession. It's basic human decency.

Same freshers would be getting billed at 3x/4x for clients, is it really a quality issue? 🧐

Ye pehle graduate colleges ke syllabus and teaching style thik karo. Half the graduates are focused on book knowledge and mugging up books. Very less base practical knowledge. Due to abundance of hacks on internet, there’s no effort in actually learning the basics.

College is not to coach you for a job. How to apply things and practical knowledge is what you are expected to gain yourself.

This is basic starting package where company is training you for 6-9 months and then your contribution starts towards the company and salary increases. People comparing this to maid, driver and momo helper salary should realise that they are at peak of their salary curve while this just first small step of salary curve for freshers

I do too. I have taken dozens of interviews in a previous company and I've even seen candidates who cannot say if a given number is even or odd.

I don't think it's a problem. Nobody is forcing anyone to take up this job. If you are talented and can earn more, then you can join a better company. I'm sure there are plenty companies that will pay top dollar for the best talent

Now Urban, Uber, Zomato,Swiggy etc will soon reduce the wages/commission. Why they should pay more than an IT company. Physical labourer has no right to earn more than a white collar person. 😂
