My manager is in love with one lady from our team, and just to boast her ego and her insecure nature he obey her like anything. That female is just insecure about me because I grab attention as I'm good looking and north Indian and plays lots of politics and plays that victim card alot as she is a single mother.
It's been over five years and working as a senior person as QA, or technical support in content domain and I have still been kept in executive junior level position with bare minimum salary nearly 4. When I have been asked about hike or promotion the seniors most person says that manager is insecure or you have such great communication skills set you can look out. And as they just want me to leave they corner me out or spread rumours about me to internal teams and within teams about my failed marriage, and this helps the lady boss too!
I thought of complaining but always others thought to just get out from here, and not spoil a single mother career as it is difficult for her too. They says she doesn't have a degree that's she can't move out, and I can, and I'm from a rich family... Which they assume!!
I feel so bad or don't even feel like going to the office as they have spread that shit rumours about me and feel very uncomfortable too.
I feel like complaining but is it just right thing to do?
Try to visualise how things will play out if u complain about it. Will your issues with team mates actually stop? Will u get your promotion? Will things improve drastically?
