[Trigger Warning: Suicide] A question
Suicide can stem from two causes:
- When external factors or people push someone towards it (abetment).
- When someone makes the decision on their own, without external influence.
I can understand how external pressure can drive a person to such a drastic step. But what kind of inner dialogue leads someone to make this choice entirely on their own?
P.S. What’s even more remarkable—how do people who constantly battle negative self-talk still find the strength to keep going?

Inner dialogues?
-When you see your ultimate fears turning into reality. When you feel hopeless about future, when you feel it's better to end everything at once instead of dying everyday.. instead of letting people down, people you love.. When you feel ending the suffering might be more peaceful than being suffered.. When you feel suffocated being the person you are.. When it feels maybe having a fresh start could be better.. maybe starting from Zero could be a better option
Now the situation can varies alot!!

Negative self-talk, yet strong? (Assuming why suicidal people who do negative self-talk gets the strength)
-Suicide is an extreme situation, and when the suicidal person thinks thoroughly about it.. it creates way more emotions than we generally think.
Just try imagining that you wanna die - don't think you will die naturally, think you gonna kill yourself. And now just sit & wait, how your emotions & brain gonna start behaving. You will get the answer, probably.

Some people suffer from chronic pain which can be so unbearable that they rather commit suicide then live with the pain.
Everyone else is an idiot or a weakling.
I fully support euthanasia legalization.
Everyone else is an idiot or a weakling
You can't say that unless you've been in their shoes

Wow, so easy to just call someone that, how do you know the struggles that every person is going through

Suicide is simply the last possible way for person to stop whatever is tormenting them. They don’t want to die per se, they just want to not exist in their current scenario, which is very different. Suicide ideation builds up over time, as people begin to feel like they’re being backed into a corner and their options are running out. Often its a mix of reality (like being in a legal scenario where relief looks far away) and the distorted perception of their own mind (that they have no one to speak to).

Suffering in life comes in many forms. Imagine somebody's whole family dying, surviving sexual abuse, a very dear loved one cheating on you. There are many things that can make one think that life is worthless.

Have you ever watched a scene of someone drowning and flailing around for help but there is no one to help? Suicidal thoughts come in those moments when someone can't find a way out. It's an abyss that they are looking into, or should I say surrounded by it.
Someone else said that committing suicide is easy. Heck no. Killing yourself is the hardest thing that you can do because we naturally are built to fight for survival, not for killing ourselves. When someone decides to quit, it means they have lost every shred of hope.
The thoughts are from helplessness, being stuck in a situation for so long, that you begin thinking that to make anyone happy around you, to find a single moment of relief, it would come from leaving.
Those who are able to fight it have to show incredible strength. When all that chaos is going on in your mind, when everything has turned against you, and you are still clinging onto that thin dangling thread of reality, that's strength.
If someone calls these people weak, they don't know what they are talking about.
