Udaan almost fired 60% staff
Friend works there. He kind of confirmed. Company is still struggling to find profitability. Not much margin in fmcg and food segment, which is their biggest pie of orders.

Hiring is freezed since last Diwali. Problem is apart from credit ( where fundamental is sorted and only scaling up is required ) other divisions are NOT making money

Ofcourse it's designed to be like that no? Credit and supply chain make money, category teams bring in the customers for them. But the problem is elsewhere ;)
