Silent layoffs in udaan across category and support functions
How many are left after so many previous rounds of firing? Did they hire just to fire?
Hiring is freezed since last Diwali. Problem is apart from credit ( where fundamental is sorted and only scaling up is required ) other divisions are NOT making money
Ofcourse it's designed to be like that no? Credit and supply chain make money, category teams bring in the customers for them. But the problem is elsewhere ;)

Friend works there. He kind of confirmed. Company is still struggling to find profitability. Not much margin in fmcg and food segment, which is their biggest pie of orders.
Just got to know internally that Unacademy is planning another round of silent layoffs in October.
No severance will be paid. Or any benefits.
Does anybody have any idea about Udaan's current numbers ? I have an offer from them who want to check if they are stable
