I never expected to be laid off from my comfortable office job at 33, but looking back, it was the push I needed to pursue my passion. At first, I was devastated and terrified. What's an unexpected turn your life has taken that ended up being a blessing in disguise? How did you navigate through the initial uncertainty?
Happened with me in March when it was my last working month, I was asked to resign or work in PIP. I got a job next month but it took another month to get an offer. I had maintained emergency fund of 1 lac which was life savior (although it has to be of 6 month salary fund). I am happy that they put me in that condition and I was offered a satisfactory package.
Did you join new firm.
