(Urgent)Average salary for APM role

I have an offer from a firm where they have mentioned that their current apm has a payscale of 8-9.

Isn't that a bit too low?

I saw a report by the product folks group where they collected 550 data points & found the avg salary to be around 16. Now, that is pretty high & im not sure whether they've collected the data from only big tech startups.

My previous was 11(10+1) & i initially mentioned 13-14 which i dont think they'll agree on. Should i ask for 12 fixed & let them decide the rest?

Kindly help.

I get 25 LPA (Base), which imo is higher than the market average. But for an APM role 15-18 Base is good.

depends on your background (college tier) or past experience. If you're joining a Unicorn or anything above that, then i think you can push for 16-18lpa plus stocks.

If it's series A/B company then push for 12.

8-9 defn low.

40% hike from previous base? Isnt that high?

No. The hike is okay given that your base. Higher your current base, lesser will be the hike on your switch.
