I have been planning to go for masters and confused between masters in management at UK and European b Schools and masters in engineering management at us universities, which will be better considering that earning great money is top priority followed by living , saving , investing and come back to India in few years -Goal is product/consulting domain . Please tell me about the post Recession opportunities as well guys

As I researched USA is slightly expensive than UK and some visa norms are also there which leaves me in a dilemma , Top b schools in UK/Europe that I am aspiring LBS Insead Hec Paris ESSEC Iese

Top engineering management programs that can Be good highly competitive and only worth the investment are:- Dartmouth mem Duke mem Cornell mem USC mem John Hopkins mem Purdue mem Northwestern mem

I am a person who is going for my masters as well this hear, here are my thoughts!

  1. Why I dint choose US - honestly not a fan of the culture, I think i would have always been scared or worried there for some reason. The US definitely pays much higher than the rest of the world but that dint attract me so much.

  2. Why i was confused between UK and Europe:
I got into all the uni's i applied for in the UK, including Imperial, but the government changed the immigration rules and PSW bench mark and did Mention they would do the same in future and with UK entering recession felt like it would not be the best place (also the expense was crazy)

  3. Why I choose Europe: with UK out of picture I focused on France and got into Essec. Why France cause of 5 year short stay and 1-2 year long stay Visa, the reputation of Business schools and in the last few years strategic relations between France and India have been at a all time high. So it felt like the best bet. They do pay lesser as compared to UK and US but yeah the pros weigher higher for me. Also I am a travel bug and have access to all of Europe to travel so that also played a factor in selection.

So yeah these were things that ran in my head before choosing. Let me know if you have any specific questions :)

Thanks!
