It was the first time I heard this too. So did a quick Google search. Seems to refer to companies that use tech to help women. Examples include period tracking, fertility solutions, pregnancy related and all that..

Yes, worked in femtech myself.

It will definitely grow but Indian startups doesn't do innovation for new products.

The product and offerings are simply rebranded weight loss and diet plans in nutshell, and in the name of tech - it's a basic app with some health related content and functionality to book consultation with doctors.

Right now, almost all the femtech companies in India are driven by paid marketing with almost no trust factor (very less recurring user rate)
