Volunteering

I am posting here looking for some suggestions. My mom is about 63 years of age, has worked most of her life and then travelled. But lately after retiring and covid her morale and energy has come down drastically. I was talking to her today asking her start volunteering at either at NGOs etc.

Do you guys know of certain NGOs/Schools where they would allow people to Volunteer in Bangalore? Any leads would be helpful

Bangalore and yes any leads will help. I just want her to move/help around and that would keep her busy from time to time

Why did her morale come down ? We have to address that first.

Work will distract her only for some time, and working NGO's is a double edged sword, either you become positive working with other hopeful people or become depressed due to the exposure of the scale of poverty, diseases etc...

It has come down with age and post covid. Earlier she use to keep herself busy with her exercises and doing decoupage.

Then she started to travel a bit and also be involved in gardening. But now being cooped up at house with my dad as he keeps doing house chores, she feels lost. She likes being around people. So that why I was asking her to volunteer or do something to keep herself engaged
