Wfo really worth it in Bangalore??

I travel for 2:30 hours from home to ofc and again 2:30 hours back home, so 5 hours travel and only visit ofc for attendance purpose so I sit in ofc only for two hours. Is it really worth visiting ofc ?

your manager's job is based on your office visit. He makes a living counting the number of tea breaks the employee takes, the login/log off time etc. If you start talking productivity as a reason for WFH, he will lose his job. Sorry, you visiting the OFC, is very important...... for him

Good that your manager and company are allowing you to be in ofc for two hrs. Irrespective of travel time, employee is supposed to be present in ofc for 9 hrs. Sadly, it’s a reality
majority of ppl don’t like to go ofc still have to go.

Switch your job if possible and take up a remote role or a place close to your home.

I have got 2 offers, one for Hyderabad location (14.5, all fixed, as they have shared space office as of now, so initially it would be WFH & once they get a proper office after some months, 2-3days WFO hybrid), & one for Pune location (1...
