What’s a dream of yours that you know is realistically not going to come true ?
We all have certain dreams and aspirations. People work hard in order to achieve their dreams. But there’s often a dream of yours that you know , how hard you try , is not going to come true. Reasons can be plenty and does not matter.
I’ll go first
My dream is to spend my 30s living in the country side of Japan and enjoy the peaceful life there. But I know with all the responsibilities that I have , this is never gonna become a reality 🤭

Buying my own house one day and have cup of tea sitting in balcony on a chilly evening staring at kids playing with my parents, smiling.

Seems achievable. What’s stopping you to get this done ?

Byuing a house in India is costly. It is gonna take a lot of time to save, invest and to think of buying. Time is not going to wait

- Buying a Jaguar. I come from a middle class family. Fortunately I am not stupid enough(or unfortunately I am not ambitious enough) to spend > 80L over a car.
- Retiring by mid 30s and getting out of the rat race. (Getting married now, so no longer a realistic dream once you have family to look after)

Jaguar costs 80L ?

Starts from 70s right

To kill zombies using a shotgun during zombie apocalypse.

studying at MIT. Too early to afford the fee, too late to study for it.

1.Reaching sr management in a company. Didn't have the talent for it.Felt The effort required was too much. It was easier to start business and break even. Now corporate life is over.
2.Wanted to quit after flying business class. Now I don't have the heart to spend my money to buy the ticket.
3. Always imagined a scenario where the HR calls me to layoff, and I would "adjust my watch and give a sigh and tell her "wish she had fired me 2 hrs before I could have gone to a matinee movie and then gone home. My wife has the house key". That will never happen now.

Owning a Mercedes G 63. Would require a miracle to make it happen.
