Back in 2017 when I was interning at a small startup I bangalore, A tech veteran from the bay area was consulting there part time, once he was in bangalore.
So we got into talking and he gave me one important lesson.
It is always great to work in startups in thr initial stages of your career.
Lot of learning, ownership, sort of college after college which prepares you for everything you would need in your career skill wise, but one thing startups do lack is in giving financial security so always make sure to keep financial safety funds
12 - 18 months if you are single
24 months if you are in your mid 30s
I must say I am very thankful for that lesson. And any fresher seeing this, please take a note.
I don't know much about FIRE but this I have known since last 6 years that companies big or small are not your friend, please plan accordingly
