whats the best tier 2/3 city to move? (preferred in south)
Been WFH for 5yrs+, lives in city.. planning to buy/build 10Cr house but I don't want to pay a extra premium for real estate.. so looking for tier 2/3 city which decent school, malls/cinema, shops, restaurants and hospital and cheap land with good connected roads [Best internet, tower, power and water is a must]

Jaipur isn't in south. But even so don't even consider this place, shit climate, very prone to water crisis. Very average infra. It's spread quiet far but the actual city with modern ecosystem is very small, which makes good land there equally expensive as t1 cities.
Honestly I don't think this place has any unique advantage, unless this is your hometown or you lived in nearby t3 cities, it's not worth living here. It's foolish for outsiders to come and settle here.
My suggestion is Mangalore. 2H flight, 8H drive away from Bangalore. Almost same climate but a bit hotter. No crazy traffic. Airport is decent and properly located. Like Bangalore many nearby tour spots. City is very compact, you can find really good property within 5-6KM from center at reasonable price. Food is also decent. No big red flags. It would be like Surat Ahmedabad but much better. I spent 4 years there, very pleasant.
thanks, I was expecting these types of comments. thanks alot for sharing

Thiruvananthapuram or Ernakulam, Kerala
Coimbatore easy
Locals here are really friendly, real estate is still in its nascent stages and the weather's pretty decent as well.

Jaipur, hands down
I feel Mangalore is good. I am surprised not to see it much in the comments.

Hope you choose a place with lots of greenery and nature. That's primarily what's missing in metropolitan cities in my opinion! Maybe a low-rise hill station with good internet connection and decent schooling?
