( impression of few years) Life is Good in NCR
Can attend family weddings in person
Join Pooja/ events at home ( in person) Good social circle
Good street food ( just step outside and you will have authentic food) Good travel options over the weekend
No language issues
Support family in medical emergency ( in case of emergencies people come to NCR for hospitalisation), I can be there ( physically present) to help them , rather than just taking updates over phone. 2/3 visits to native place per quarter. Many relatives/ old friends visits because I am in NCR and they come here for some work/visit, feels good to discuss old days. Feels really good whenever I go to nearby temple , do attend aarti or evening poojas . Small things but they matter.

Felt too poor in this city, it's kinda complete showoff going on

Rapes maybe higher in number here (or reporting is better) but that isn't the identity of this city 🤦‍♀️

Excellent infra. Feels like a rich City unlike Mumbai 🤦 for all e money it holds. Very well planned.

It DID NOT FEEL UNSAFE.
It gets too much unnecessary bad name on this. It's all exaggerated bullshit. There were small instances but similar shit has happened in both Mumbai and Bangalore. I loved the people I met in Delhi.

Somehow City feels more similar to Bangalore, especially when you compare the visuals and compare it with Mumbai/Hyderabad. Mumbai has a very stark contrast against blr.

Soo many historical places to travel. And I went everywhere. Bargained badly in Chandni chowk, drank lassy listening to fckers advice etc😅...

Contrary to what everyone says, again, everywhere people were very nice. Be it India gate, red fort, qutub minar, chandni chowk etc.

It has faced insane immigration, and many times that's always bad, yes there is a populace that's crap, but kudos to the city for doing it's best to have so many things to shine inspite of it.

Didn't feel pollution as badly as it's mentioned in papers. But it was no heaven either...

Great to see Delhi NCR people fighting the forced narratives of North vs South

People have this weird notion that Delhi/Gurgaon isn't safe and that the folks here are as warm as an ice cube in Antarctica. Can you believe that? This narrative has been doing the rounds for so long that it's starting to affect the mig...

Living in Gurgaon makes living in BLR seem like heaven

I've been living in BLR all my life and been living in Gurgaon for about 4 months now because of company transfer. I thought BLR was bad until I came to Gurgaon.

  1. The complete lack of apathy and compassion is off the charts here. Pe...
