Increasing the tax slab and putting 1000s of skilled employees out of work because of the perceived ‘sin’ aspect of RMG was heavy handed and short sighted

A better way to implement would have been to cap spends and reduce ability to transact huge amounts over a predefined period of time

The small chit gambler can continue and the govt could have imposed a much more workable tax rate

Now nobody wins. RMG shuts down, taking with it a viable revenue stream, and the gambler will continue to find other ways to waste money

This stupid country needs to revisit its definition of what is ‘good vs bad’

Intresting perspective, There should have been an better way to handle it.
