It's a scam. They will give you tasks like giving reviews and tasks where you invest your money like 2k, 5k, 9k, etc and then during those money investing tasks, ask you to buy and sell BTC or ETC for companies. You will make short profits.

I don't know this. Is this a scam to fool others with the Google ratings on restaurants? Or is this where the recipient of whatsapp message gets fooled?

The latter. Although the former happens as well, it doesn't pay nearly as well as the scammers claim.
