Although my gains are significant, I have realised it’s not working out for me. So going to sell most of my stocks.
Hey folks, I was checking my portfolio recently and with the slight market correction happening over the course of the month, I am confused about selling some of my stocks, I wanted to know how to go about it?
Background: I am a 24 yo and have been investing since 2020, have made good profit across but with some stocks been super lucky (300-400%) although the absolute number is in thousands only. I don't have any requirement of money and can hold all of them for a very long period.
Selling a stock is an art, not a science. You should consider selling when the fundamentals of the company change for the worse, or if the stock has become overvalued due to irrational exuberance. But remember, timing the market is a fool's errand. It's time in the market, not timing the market that creates wealth.
