Which credit card to choose in banglore?

I am moving to banglore in a 1 month, I have had only SBI account as no credit card was necessary in a work from home setting in a village. What bank should I buy a credit card from? My needs: I need discount on purchanse in Amazon in tech gadgets and other things, I need best discount for travel journey.

And should I buy the credit card by opening the account on banglore's branch or my local branch where I live?
