Which credit card will be worth it when you are earning 40+ lpa?
I have HDFC regalia and I am planning to upgrade, looking out for suggestions.

Axis Magnus

Other than the income criteria, is it still a good option if monthly spend is not more than a 1 lac? Rent payments are now excluded from earning rewards point( correct me if I have wrong understanding).
I am evaluating it for myself and I don't see myself regularly spending more than a lac regularly. It may happen once or twice in a year

No rent is still in. Hitting one lac regardless. The amount of points that stack up is nuts. Really good conversion. Combine with cheq and miles and you really can't get a better deal right now.

Axis Reserve
HDFC Infinia
Amex Card equivalent to the above 2

Don't get Amex, I have it. Half the stores don't accept it. Just good for online shopping

Well then at 40LPA + I think Reserve is a better and achievable compared to the Magnus. I have a Magnus and love the reward system. Grabdeal bonuses make normal shopping better too.

Is HDFC regalia even worth it? I have it and tbh, I end up reaching out for my Axis Flipkart all the time purely cause it gives me 1.5% cashback

It's called No Credit Card ... You got good income focus on saving more than spending ... As humans we make mistakes if we have too many resources for some weird reason ... Let me walk you through a Limus Test ...
- You go out or Browsing through the internet.. come upon a shop or stop to.a product page... That might not really need but it will be a cool thing to buy because you can now... Now you would be thinking i am earning for whom else ... I should buy this because I can ...
Now If you are the person who will pass on thoughts and would not buy in that case...buy any credit card you are getting every credit card is becoming the same thing ..
But if you are latter ... Do not get one ...
Just my take ... 😜

Haa bhai weekdays mai kaam kare paise kamaye aur usko kabhi use bhi na kare ye sochke ki future mai use aayega. Live and let die

Lol .. bhai just my take ... Ofcourse it's your money do what makes you happy.. Credit Cards are more like responsibility than cash available to spend that's all what I wanted to say 😊
I don't have a credit card had one.. even when I was responsible with it but still bought few things which I should have not ...
So for me probably would not get a CC

It’s infinia, that’s all you need!

Could you say it's advantages? The reward system looks very poor

The reward system is the best- 15% on Amazon, Apple etc. 1 RP = 1 Rs on Apple, Tanishq, flights, hotels Welcome and renewal benefits would make your card basically free. In what world is reward system poor? Tell me one card that’s better than this, given spends are < 1 lakh per month

How do u even get to 1Lac card spend monthly?

Depends on your spending patterns. I usually use credit card wherever possible. So my spends easily cross a lakh for most months of a year. And some months where I have vacations / large purchases it has crossed 2 lakhs too (which would contribute to get the fee waiver on magnus at the 15 lakh mark)

Even if you don’t get the waiver, you get cliq vouchers right ?

HDFC Infinia….If you’re spending more than 1 lakh per month, then hands down Axis Magnus. There is no other card which even comes close to it(only if expenditure is more than a lakh per month).
