Why are reasonably big successful startups coming to such abrupt end?

Being a founder myself I am confused about these happenings. We have companies like Wynk Music, Gaana, etc. which were quite humongous names but there sudden stop like this is making me feel queasy.

I understand few of the startups like Zomato, Ola, Nykaa, etc. are doing good but there are thousands of small startups closing every year and now big ones too.

I just want to understand that is there a huge fault line that I am not seeing or is there any other reason altogether?

I would have paid 25.1 lakhs for Gaana.

I mean it's hilarious and all but what went so wrong that it had to go for just 25 lakhs.

Do you have more details about the deal? What were its major terms?

If it's not profitable enough, it will shut, plain and simple.

Far too many big businesses depend on big loans and investments, which often dry up in a bear market.

Do not go by stock market performance, we are surely in a bear market in terms of economy locally as well as globally. Stock market will also catch up soon to that reality.
