Why is the hype for startup so higher that people resign their job at mnc?

I do not know why people are running towards startups, so let me tell what happened. i freelance in a stealth startup mode, like we are in the real estate tech space, and recently the founder raised 3 CR from the family and friends circle and told me that we might have few people in sooon, and i gave a status as we got funded, and guess what ? Literally all people are crying that i want to come in for development, and the worst thing is still we have not decided what to pay, and the feasibility of that idea takes time, and idk, will it stand and all! as even for a year

i have a question why this hype and all one of my friend was even ready to resign his job at oracle to join us and i told no wait for time as my salaries are delaying too
