Why LinkedIn Job Applications Feel Pointless

I'm incredibly frustrated with LinkedIn's job application process. It seems like the job tab never works effectively, and I wonder if others share my experience. Despite applying to jobs using the "Easy Apply" and directly on company websites with a well-crafted resume and complete information, I've never received a response.

I question the authenticity of these job postings and whether HR professionals actually review the applications. If they do, what is their process? How do they sift through the numerous applications? It feels like my efforts are in vain, and the lack of feedback is disheartening.

  1. If the job description says 2 years of experience, fill 2 years and if it's 2+ years then fill 3 years and likewise.

  2. Also as others suggested, use it mostly for referral.

  3. Another thing you can do is to find the HR (Talent Acquisition Team) details like email or phone and directly send resumes to them.

The last 2 points are quite effective compared to the first one IMO.

I hope it will be helpful.

The last 2 also stopped working, how are you navigating. Of all the people i have dmd for referral, not one has responded, they're not even seeing the message. This is worse than dating apps

Use LinkedIn only for referrals, I also felt the same and switched to Naukri

So, find job on Naukri or LinkedIn then get it referred

It's been 4 months, I've been applying on evey job portals including LinkedIn, and what I concluded about LinkedIn is that, Don't expect reply from 'Easy apply', Be ready to accept Rejection mail already if you apply on Career portals of the Companies, the only thing which I heard is working in this sh*t market is referrals but people are saying that also isn't helping you to get even calls, I've read somewhere that this time 50% chance is you'll get a call if you have referral and 80% chance if the company calls you itself, talking about LinkedIn connection trust me , connections on LinkedIn is the most stupidest thing on that app, people will accept your connection Request and that's it because that benefits them as well, firstly people won't see your dm and even if they do they won't reply, i have connections from almost all the Companies but noone of them actually helped me to get even a call. On This app i feel people actually tell that they will refer you, i mean that's something i can't even Express atleast they are saying they will refer , better ask referrals from here i hope people here will do better for everyone , grapevine community is best so far.
