Water crisis in Startup capital of India
What is the water timing in your area ? How bad has it affected your daily routine? How are you managing through this crisis ?
Bangalore, my 'Karm Bhoomi' and the heart of the global software industry, is facing an acute #water crisis. With taps running dry and a pricing war waging over water tankers, the situation is reminiscent of Arrakis, where only the rich had access to water. Our maid now arrives earlier to ensure dishes are washed before the water ceases at noon and later comes to do other chores. Getting to work is another battle—an exercise in managing daily routines with packaged water, only to be stuck in the city's traffic with blaring heat.
Unlike Arrakis, though, Bangalore is supposed to have numerous lakes and a functioning water cycle as part of the city's ecosystem. So how did we get here?

As a climate tech founder, what solution u propose?
If u r cm how will u fix this??
As I mentioned in the post, most of the water usage is in agriculture sector—one of our product features helps to implement AWD(method used for reducing water usage in rice cultivation). We are working on such projects outside of India but now we are focusing on our homeland and have started conversation with global players to help them in 2 AWD projects, one in Telangana and other in Tamil Nadu for effective implementation of this sustainable agriculture practice. Though the discussions are in early stages and we are testing feasibility of these projects as of now.
So if I were concluded my answer to your question, we will double tap of more such methods and are planning to accelerate them through tech-stack which we are building.
Amazing... R u aware of dehaat?
This was discussed in our apartment too, the primary reason is without water in the swimming pool, the tiles crack due to excessive heat and there is a possibility of the filtering system getting spoilt.
Also, the swimming pool water can’t be practically used for anything else apart from mopping and cleaning. Not even for gardening because of chlorine!
It can be used in toilet and flush. After 11 AM, we can’t go to toilet. The situation is bad. Yesterday, I had some guest at my house and they were not able to use the toilet.
I can understand and it’s quite embarrassing. For all the flush, it should be mandated to use STP water. This system that was setup in the beginning has helped us a lot!

Finally hit my apartment in Indiranagar. Anyone else facing it?
Didn’t think it was that big of a crisis since I didn’t know who was facing any shortage.
