Zomato hiring freshers for a totally new position called Algorithms Engineer. Just looking at the CTC breakup will give you a shock.

Not sure about the authenticity of this pic, but if true, it will set whole new benchmark for other companies!

Zomato hires freshers at base pay of 18-20LPA. So don’t think its 6LPA. But 60LPA is also way to good to be true!

They hire at that for algorithms engineer not software engineer. So they are competing with hfts which pay avg 1cr for indians. Thus the pay.

It's not a typo. They're paying this at IIT D/B and are only open to people with JEE ranks <500 and god level Mathematics and Competitive Programming skills

But this amount is even more than what HFTs pay and at least they make a huge profit per employee. Zomato does not have the same Profit per employee ratio to afford such salaries at fresher level.
