Zomato Veg Fleet
I think we all judged Deepinder a little too harshly. He knows that there is a possibility that a vegetarian can get served chicken instead of paneer makhani, like what happened with me just now and hence he had set up a pure veg fleet.
We as a society failed to understand his perspective.
If its inside the container, then it’s the restaurant’s fault cos they cooked/packed that. In that case one should not eat out as well, cos there’s always a possibility of that happening. And one fun fact: All people in hospitality industry know that over 90% restaurants use the same utensils to cook veg non-veg without washing. Unless its pure veg restaurants or ultra-high end like Indian Accent (even then there’s no guarantee). So don’t make it a zomato issue, if you aren’t comfortable with that
In a country where people are openly mob lynched cause there were rumours they were carrying beef, and you think that won’t invite safety issue for the riders? Its literally a matter of life and death for the riders. But for people in their comfortable homes will never understand that.
Also the Veg fleet is still there, they just aren’t distinguished by colours, which was the main issue.
How will having a pure veg fleet solve for this? Can you walk me through your thought process?

Vegetarians who order veg food from multicusine restaurants, have no right to complain if they get a meat piece. One cannot be a food and then expect the world to behave correctly. Veg. people who buy from non veg hotels are idiots.
