NoBroker

Last month I interviewed with NoBroker for a Demand Servicing Head position. The process went like this: 2 rounds of screening with HR/TA - was okay, good conversations. After which they scheduled an interview with the Business Head for the particular team. This interview went well too. After this they sent me an assignment - the longest assignment I've ever worked on as a part of the recruitment process. It asked me to write multiple detailed SOPs for the sales team, build a demand forecast model, and a complete demand generation plan for an oddly specific scenario. They gave me 5 days for it. I worked my a** off, desperate to get the job as I've been unemployed for some time. I did the assignment close to perfection - spoke to so many industry folks in real estate and made realistic assumptions, covering all possibilities. All in all I've not been so confident about my work ever like I was in this case. I submit and they acknowledge. Few days go by, I follow up, only to be given generic delay reasons by HR. Eventually, after more than a week they rejected me. When I requested for feedback on the assignment they completely ghosted me. I don't know why I'm sharing this here, but it's been hard. I've been jobless for > 5 months and every such experience completely shatters my already low self esteem further.

Was looking for rented homes in Bangalore, any suggestions on any app or other stuff that might help?

I was looking to buy a house on nobroker. I took a paid plan. Suddenly I was not able to take any owner's contact. They say it's a technical glitch. But it's been more than a month and now RM and the support team is not even entertaining. To give some background.. We are seeing houses at our pace and had taken a plan 3 times. I did not take any help from RM as they eat up your time on the phone. So one of the RMs had said if I do not give my requirements my account will be closed. I had raised a complaint on this and my RM got changed. I got calls 3 times from unknown persons asking if I have some leads and they want to buy a house. (To check I am a broker or what). Is my account suspended cos they think I am a broker? If so they have a really redeculus business strategy.

Recently moved to a new city and was looking for a flat for rent. Went through the nobroker app and found some good properties and even took the moneyback plan as it was cheaper than paying brokerage and also had the guarantee of getting my money back so why not!(Foolish me🤡) This is where all shit begins - For more than half of the properties listed there, the owner does not pick up the phone. - The relationship manager(RM) is the most useless person(not sure on what basis they hire), even after mentioning my requirements over call and chat both, he suggests flats which he likes even though they do not match any requirement that I'd mentioned. My requirements were simple of a gated society and within 10kms of my office (not asking for too much ig) - let's say I even overcome the above 2 obstacles and finally am able to contact the owner and schedule a visit after tons of discussion with my RM, on the day of visit no one answers the call and I'm left stranded😭 And also as a bonus point, get ready to be spammed by their cross-services of packers and movers, rental agreement etc ( received more than 10 calls in a day🙃) And now when I want my money back they are not at all receptive and just ignore my calls and messages. Although it's not a huge amount but I felt cheated and hence wanted to rant and probably help people who are looking for nobroker reviews. Beware people, it's one of those open scams🥲
