Need advice in adding work experience.

In 2022, I worked in company A for less than 2 weeks and then left to join my current company B. I don't want to show that less than 2 weeks on my resume for future opportunities because I was still in onboarding process, no codebase access and no project was allocated . I realized joining company A was a mistake. Reason why I left was at the start of interview process I confirmed that I will get to work on React and they confirmed. But when I joined company A, I got to know they have 0 active React projects and all are in Aurelia (not even Vue/Angular). It was the 1st time I heard about Aurelia framework and decided to resign as I was already getting other better offers. I had discussion with Company A HR and manager and explained them reason of my resignation, they accepted and at the end of month I got salary of those 7 days in my bank. Is it ok if I don't mention these 7 days in my resume because I did nothing there and was still going through onboarding? I don't want to show it on my resume because it might indicate to my future employer that I am unreliable and can leave quickly after joining but actually it was not my mistake. They lied and I was lucky to have other offer. I fear future employers might not even shortlist my resume due to those 7 days. Suggestions?

In my past experience: - I got laid off on May 2020 - in July 2020 I got a job, did not like it and left early by Sept 2020 - I joined a new company on Oct 2020 In my resume , I have skipped this experience and mentioned other dates correctly. I didn't think it would be relevant! 1. Experience A - Till May 2020 2. Experience C - from Oct 2020 - .. 1. Would this be a problem for background verification? 2. Should I inform the HR about this ?

I will go first, i have deleted my first company from my resume because even though i was very good at coding. They put me in a support project in graveyard shift. I faked illness to get out of shift, and later on was removed and put in angular project. I moved on 6 months later to a good company as backend engineer but i really regret joining my 1st company. When asked , I just say the work was not relevant to what i wanted. Please share your experience too.

I am a 23 grad, fulltime exp around 9 months. Prior to that did 3 internship as full time. That experience would be close to 9 months. Did more stuff at my interns rather than my curr job. Also did some tech related stuff, hackathons, blogs, conent writing. When I apply to any job, people rightout reject me because I am a fresher 23 grad. My say is atleast look at my experiences and just not reject me because I am 23 grad. What's your opinion over this?

People who landed job after having 3-4 years of career gap, please share how you did it? What would be your advice to people with long career gaps? Everyone please share your thoughts or advice on this.

I have submitted a resume of previous employment after completing my education till now ( total of 6 years, In these for the first 3 years I don't have documents) which I have worked for HR before taking a technical interview and client round interview. I got selected for that role. But HR is asking now to submit the documents including the updated resume. So, while submitting with an updated resume to HR can I remove the first 3 years which I don't have documents from the resume now. And provide only the remaining documents to them. Can someone please suggest to me this how to proceed. Thanks!

Hii, I'm a front-end developer having around 3 years of work experience. I got laid-off in 2023 just after 1.8years in an organisation. Then I joined another company and got laid off in 6 months. Now I have an offer from early stage startup but I'm too scared to accept it because of my experience. But on the other hand I don't have any offer as well. Will it look bad on my resume. I don't know... I've started thinking that something is wrong with me otherwise what is the chances of getting laid off twice within same year. First I loose my peace of mind because of work pressure and then I loose my work... pretty f**cked up situation. I have never been this unde confident. What do you think shall I take the offer from startup again or wait few more months or more to get into good mnc??

One of my close friends is not liking the work in the current company due to the terrible WLB. He is planning to switch to a new company but doesn't want to show this current company experience of 3+ months. Have you ever come across such a situation? What's the best thing to do? If he reveals to the new employer then it won't be good on his resume because the company previous to the current one laid off 50% of employees and unfortunately he got affected too in that layoffs. So, due to tough market conditions he has joined a startup and realised that he can't sustain here for long. Please guide if it's alright not to put the last 3 months experience in the resume and apply for new jobs.
