I'm a data science/analyst/engineer fresher from 2024 batch and have a 12LPA campus placement in Bangalore. 

I'm from a tier 2 North Indian city, but wfh will possibly limit my growth given how I'm just starting out. So I'm looking for hybrid options, preferably in Gurgaon so traveling is easy. Any leads?

I wanted to know how you tackle this feeling of loneliness and being lost in the city. When you have no one to talk with and always being homesick.

Loneliness

Our jobs requires us to move to a different location almost every few years. Considering this fact, how do folks here decided where to buy their permanent home?

I used to live in Gurgaon before covid. I've been working remotely since then. In the long run, I don't see myself working from home all the time. I may move to work in a hybrid setup. I had always observed that there are not a lot of opportunities in Gurgaon comparing with Hyderabad or Bangalore.

Moreover, I don't like big & crowded places. I don't see myself living in these metro cities in the long run.

Holi hai? Diwali hai? So what, nothing to enjoy. Lets spend the day laying on the bed, watching stuff over phone. Feeling less and less disconnected with friends, to the point where I feel I don't even have friends. College friends are based in another city. Didn't even try to make friends at workplace. Stuck alone in my homecity as past 6 years I was based somewhere else completing my grad and preparing for jee. Prior to that focused a lot on studies. So had little to no interaction with people during academics. And now when I have time and money to spend, there is noone with whom I can have fun with.

The older I get, the lesser my excitement becomes for festivals

Moved to a city from a Village. I felt the same. The reason is that cities are culturally and morally bankrupt.  Except mindless consumerism and inflated egos , cities teach you nothing. 
 The longer one lives in cities, people just become animals in fine clothes.

Traffic, Pollution, People, Lifestyle, Rent, etc. I would highly appreciate your views on this.

Perhaps the best thing about Delhi is it’s relationship with culture and history.

Food, Architecture, Infrastructure, Museums

You are guaranteed to find a place of great cultural and historical significance in all of the above dimensions.

You will be teleported into a bygone era when you’re in the middle of Khan Market at the Faqir Chand Bookstore. An experience unlike the rest.

Finally, I don’t have to worry about travelling 6kms and it taking the entire day. *wink wink Bengaluru*

Hey, grapeviners! I'm new to NCR, and my weekends have been quite boring lately. I end up staying in my room and watching Netflix all day. Can you suggest some places in NCR that I should explore? I'm an introvert, so I prefer quiet yet beautiful places. Is there anywhere I can spend hours alone and, in the end, enjoy a stunning sunset to remind myself that there's more to life?

Hello. I'm a Software Engineer with 3.3 years of Experience currently based out of Bengaluru. Been having a rough patch at my current company which also happens to be my first company right out of college. Owing to few changes that they've implemented lately, the work culture here seems to have taken a hit which has made me look for new opportunities.

So, in case if you kind people have any openings that you might know of which are based out of Gurgaon and if a referral can be provided, it'll be of great help.

Before anyone comments "Why Gurgaon?" - I've lived my entire life in South India till now and I really wish to experience the North of India for few years owing to my personal likings. I really wish and don't want this post to turn into a Bengaluru vs Gurgaon debate.
